WhatsApp is allowing to edit messages ?

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that enables users to edit sent messages within a 15-minute window. In a recent blog post, the popular chat app announced that users can now fix misspellings, include additional information, or make other alterations to their sent messages. This update provides greater flexibility for users to modify their communications.

The option to edit messages on WhatsApp has begun its global rollout and will gradually become available to all users in the upcoming weeks. This update, introduced by Meta, the parent company of Facebook, ensures that users worldwide will have access to the ability to edit their messages on the platform.

To make corrections to a text message on WhatsApp, users can simply press and hold the sent message and select the "edit" option. Once the changes are made, the message will indicate that it has been "edited." However the edit history is not visible to the recipients of the message, ensuring privacy and maintaining the integrity of the conversation,  WhatsApp has announced.
