Twitter : Now X ?

Twitter : Now X ?

Twitter has rebranded its incorporated name to X Corp, which aligns with the name of Elon Musk's all-in-one app concept. The move reflects Musk's broader vision for the company, which extends beyond social media.

On April 4, a filing in California federal court revealed that Twitter Inc. is no longer operational and is now part of X Corp. Elon Musk drew attention to this filing in a tweet on Tuesday, simply stating "X."

Since his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter last year, Elon Musk has been thinking about the idea of creating X, an all-encompassing app. In fact, he referred to the Twitter acquisition in October as a means to accelerate the development of X.

In the past, Musk expressed his desire for X to become a mobile payment platform where users can earn interest on their cash similar to a bank. He has also mentioned his aspiration for the app to include various other services such as ride-hailing and food delivery.

The success of this transformation is crucial for Musk to achieve a strong return on his investment in Twitter. Musk believes that X has the potential to propel the company to a $250 billion valuation.
