Sony unveils EV, prototype to be made with Honda

Sony has announced a electric vehicle prototype will be made with Honda. The vehicle was first announced in October, it was on stage at Las Vegas recently.  It will be called Afeela.  

Ceo of Sony Honda Mobility - Yasuhide Mizuno has said they expect preorders to be happening during the first half of 2025, and deliver the vehicles around spring of 2026. In north America.

To provide good safety and security options the vehicle will have Sony's sensors and Honda's safety features,  Mizuno has said.  

Production of the vehicles will happen in the U.S. Honda plants.  U.S. was chosen since Electric vehicles are already popular  there. Japan is the second option since that is Honda's home market .
