JK Rowling And Harry Potter TV Series Coming

J.K. Rowling has been officially given the green light for a television series by the streaming service Max, formerly HBO Max.

The upcoming series will be a retelling of the original seven books authored by Rowling. It will have a new cast of actors portraying the leading roles, and the series is planned to be released gradually over the course of a decade.

On Wednesday, David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros Discovery, made an announcement regarding the merger of HBO Max and Discovery+ streaming services.

According to a statement by Max, the highly-anticipated series will feature a brand new cast, ready to inspire a new generation of fans. However, despite the change in actors, the series will remain faithful to the magical and intricate world of Harry Potter, complete with beloved characters,  details, and breathtaking locations that have captured the hearts of fans.
