Japan Announces Space Migration Program - Train to Mars and Moon
In general we all have been on the train and travelled to locations near and far places. But is it possible to travel to the moon or mars by train ?
It appears like it may be possible, to reach the Moon or Mars by a train type of transportation. In Japan - Kyoto University and Kajima Construction company are collaborating on this project to make this happen.
It is said that they have made the planning, modeling and have went over the procedure and steps that is needed to make this a reality. Now they are in the process of just executing the work that is needed to built such a transportation.
It can be surprising and even doubtful to many, if this is possible. The team have said the initial step here is making such transportation to the moon, the second step is to create a glass structure on the moon to create a habitable, earth like atmosphere.
The Third step is to create the train to travel from the Moon to the Mars; to create the interplanetary train. And from Mars to Earth. So there is going to be this triangle approach to this transportation, the team have revealed.
To create a habitable, earth like atmosphere on the moon, they plan on building that glass structure; they will be doing the same at mars. Because as we know the environment, structure, atmosphere, and other factors are not similar or something that humans can live on. To make it habitable this glass structure is going to be built.
I know many of you will have the question of how long will this take, before it is completed. The team plans on completing this project on the year 2120, so it may be possible in 2120 to get on a train space system to head to the Moon, from the Moon travel to Mars and from Mars back to Earth.
To get all this completed it may take many years, but the plan is to get the 1st stage of getting the train to the Moon, as of 2050. It's not going to be exactly a train that gets you from the Earth to the Moon, but as I said it will be a transportation system; but they call it that for now.
As we all know The United States is the only country to have successfully conducted crewed missions to the Moon. Japan is also working towards this goal, by 2050 they want to create the transportation system to go from the Earth to the Moon; and create that glass structure to some extent there, by 2050. Now Japan wants to join that success and reach the Moon.
Since the Moon does not have the same gravity as the Earth, we all know that people cant live on the Moon currently. Because the Moon has less gravity, the human bodies can't handle the changes from Earth to the Moon suddenly. For instance if you weigh 65kg at Earth, on the Moon you will be weighing significantly lower because the Moon has lesser gravity when compared to Earth. Because of this, it is said that people can get back pain, and bone issues. This is why the team wants to build that glass structure to create a habitable place.
To create a Earth like atmosphere the team has said they will be building a Moon glass structure; the images of it will look like a cone shaped figure. Inside this Moon glass they plan on creating atmosphere that is acceptable for humans to live in, they plan on having trees, obviously water will have to be there; the goal is to create a Earth like atmosphere by creating this Moon glass.
Japan maybe the second country to land on the Moon, because they have signed the papers with NASA to take a Japanese astronaut as part of NASA's Artemis program.
Before many Space programs occurred, the race to reach the Moon; to go into space. But during the 1980's, 1990's and early 2000 countries did not invest tremendously for space stuff, as to the earlier periods, but currently thanks to Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Richard Branson they are trying to achieve something massively revolutionary. Because these individuals of such renowned companies are taking part in space activities, the governments are also taking more of a part to invest in space related ventures.
The funding for NASA is getting increased little by little, outsourcing of equipment's are happening thorough the private companies. It appears as private companies will play a great deal in supporting space ventures.
Question for this post is :
Would you choose to travel on this transportation system ?
Would you like to travel to the Moon or Mars, why is that ?
